As I am about to go and get a Mushroom and lentil pie for lunch I am wondering what is your favourite pie.
Personally I can't go past a chilli pie or even a curry pie, steak and kidney as well as lamb and rosemary also taste very good too.
So NSG let me know what type of pie do you enjoy the most.

I'm a big fan of savory pies, it's hard to rule one winner. A minced beef and onion pie can be a wonderful thing.
I'm not nearly so fond of sweet pies.
But I'd chose a Cornish Pasty over pretty much any pie.

That'd make it a chicken, potato.. and Nanatsu pie?

Oh yeah I could get one of them but then I would have to get the proper one.
If it has chicken and potatoes inside, I'm in.
And with real chicken breast inside it not something that looks similar to chicken.

and the most puerile.
If so, then a nice steak and kidney pie in a Guinness and Worchester sauce.
Steak and oyster is also great in the same sauce.

Lemon meringue, or key lime, or blackberry, or raspberry, or strawberry rhubarb, or just rhubarb....too many perfectly yummy pies to choose from. :)

Of the savory pies - tamale pie, chicken pie, beef pie, turkey pie and a ham and potato pie I made for Renaissance Faire.
Of the sweet pies - apple, peach, lemon meringue, pecan, walnut, chocolate, strawberry and an apple-berry pie a friend made for Renaissance Faire.
Oh, and don't forget a properly made shepherd's pie.

For savory, I make a mean mushroom-onion pie.
For sweet, pumpkin pie, or a GOOD cherry pie.
Key lime.
Oooh, that too. But with REAL Key limes.
Mmm, and cherry cheesecake.
For savory... Hmm... As much as I've been enjoying making meat pies and pork pies... Give me a chicken pot pie (Though I agree with NTS that a tommyknocker is better than anything).
As for sweet... God above there's too many. I admit that what I'm craving right now though is one of Apple Hill's famous giant apple pies.
If only I had an oven big enough for one...

Hell yeah, and ensure it is made with lamb and not beef otherwise it is a potato pie.
And since people have been saying their sweet pies, I love apple if looking for something hot and lemon meringue if looking for something cold.

I usually go for chocolate pie (the graham cracker crust is my favorite), with apple pie second. I don't mind chicken or beef pot pies though. Shepherds pie, I had a bad experience with (had a bad one, and spent most the next day it the the bathroom), so I don't eat it anymore.

What is Banoffee? Never heard of it before.
An incredibly sweet dessert made from bananas, cream and condensed milk on a biscuit or pastry base. Short for Banana Toffee.
If you want a real sugar fix, it's the one to go for.
I would think that LG's favourite pie is Onetotheface pie.

Mince and cheese pie. I've only seen them done properly in NZ.
It sounds crap, but by all that's holy.... It's a taste sensation! It shits on steak and stilton.

You really should try them.
Granted the lentil pie isn't to everyone's taste and I missed out yesterday because or the vegitarian ones had gone and they only had vegan ones left, now they taste awful, had to end up with a spinac and cheese pasty. Might get one today.
No but you should try themor even just a plain meat pie, Ned Kelly pie (a proper one) is very nice too.
