Makes you wish there was a Legal Internet Debate age.

So, since GoG gave me the idea, I made a new thread. I'm bored today.

Should there be a minimum age to post on NSG and engage in debate? What should be the minimum age to post on NSG and engage in debates? We've all debated with people we could swear are 3, and it's extremely frustrating.

And, as usual, there's a poll coming.

The more important aspect is one's maturity level. That's more important that age, and though maturity and age are roughly correlated, correlation does not imply causation.

clearly i'm the only one intelligent enough to be on here. it should be just me, arguing with myself in an empty room.

I didn't know it was 13. I guess that's ok. Sure we can get saucy & satly but a dose of the real world should make for easier transitions later on.

And they can learn things like how rediciously easy it would be for UFO's to visit Earth all the time!

There should be a maximum age, and it is 17.

I'd like a minimum mental age limit.

I wouldn't mind a minimum of 21.

The fact of the matter is that kids, regardless of how intelligent they may be, simply lack the critical thinking skills to form intellectually valid and meaningful opinions on important subjects.
