TV coverage for The Preakness is retarded.

The stupid horse race is less then 2 minutes long and coverage STARTED at 4:30, its now almost 2.5 hours later and its STILL being covered. How much can you POSSIBLY talk about a race before and after?
Thank God for Tivo. Woman after woman with funny hats with microphones in front of them flew by at 5x speed.

I noticed that too when I flipped over to watch the news and the race broadcast was still on. How hard is it to buy a damm watch that works?

Making a 2 minute race a half hour show would be an excellent start.
I could never understand how people could actually find a reason to complain about something that doesn't actually impact them in any way...

Are you not doing that right now with your very comment?

am I complaining? Not at all. That would require a level of "giving a damn" that I'm just not capable of mustering. Much like I can't when it comes to complaining about how a show I don't want to watch is too long.

That's why I tuned in 15 minutes before the race. If you don't want to watch the pre-race coverage....don't watch it.

For not giving a damn you somehow summoned the energy to criticize regardless. Well done.

Well, taking good time to air a horse show when they COULD HAVE been running M*A*S*H. :D

DVDs violate first principles. Only the lazy poor expect to be able to watch what they want when they want. If they weren't able to watch the show when it was on, they don't deserve it.

You have given enough of a damn to post 3 times in this thread.
And I predict at least one more time. :D
