How long do you have left on NSG (and Earth)?
Holy Cheese and Shoes

Due to being in a macabre mood having just toasted an anniversary of a relative's death, I wondered why couldn't I celebrate the day of my death in advance?
Then I remembered this (http://www.deathclock.com/) existed, so I could calculate my deathday!
I'm going on August the 5th 2050 giving me a juicy 41-odd years more of existential angst.
How long have you got? Would you celebrate your deathday every year if you knew it? Would it be cool to know exactly when you would die?

I continue to live in happy ignorance of the future on account of the clock froze while loading.
But a long time ago, I took a different longevity test that some Harvard med students had up for a while. It calculated on a full actuarial health questionnaire that included a lot of details of family medical, lifespan and cause of death info and details of lifestyle (active/sedentary, vegetarian/meateater, etc.). That one calculated that I would live as long as and die pretty much the same as the rest of my family -- excellent health into my late 80s/early 90s, then sudden death from...oh...they guessed cancer, because strokes are too hard to predict and there was nothing else wrong with me or running my family (we die of unpredictable strokes, not bet-worthy cancer). If that holds true, I'm only about halfway to the end of the ride.

Oh, and in reference to the OP's other question: I celebrate my death day a little bit all the time. I consider it profoundly mentally liberating to contemplate one's own death, even visualize it and meditate on it. I make a habit of it to keep me from obsessing over shit that does not matter now. It helps me avoid stress and stay focused on what makes me happy.

I do the exact same thing, although less now than I used to. It's an odd feeling when you contemplate non-existence.
It's also the reason I did a bungee jump, it's sort of like a miniature 'facing imminent possible death' situation (as well as nauseating when you've bounced up the 5th time).

Would you really want to live that long?
Yes? There's nothing waiting for me after life, and life has the potential to be full of amazing things. I want to see what happens in the future. I like change, I like progress, and importantly there are a lot of people I like here (on earth, not just NSG you big egoplops) and I am sure to meet a lot more people I like. Sure, it has its miserable component too and I am incredibly familiar with it, but overall I like life more than I don't. Why would I want something that's a net positive to end? Non existance is completely neutral. That's a step down really, even if I won't be aware of it.

my husbands work had everyone take one of those evaluations ......20ish years ago...it looked at all sorts of lifestyle variables and it turned out that he could live longer--less than ONE YEAR longer--if he made some changes.
but some of the people who were big time smokers, drinkers or drug abusers were told that they could add many years if they cleaned up their lives.
