I have tried to get experts to look into this but no replies as of yet. He just dissapeared in 1912. He was a very good friend of Wild Bill Hickock and "Calamity" Jane Cannary.

He moved on with his career after Deadwood ended? That's why Ian McShane is a king now.

As he would have been 74 or so in 1912, I don't think he'd be doing anything too lively....

There were a few passenger(for ships) list that have him going back and forth between Panama and New Orleans. Or at least seem too Age matches. this suggest some business interest.
My guess is he retired there and died leaving his money to what ever young Panamanian girl he took up with.

Ahh some things to look into Thank you all. Another friend of his was Seth Bullock who was a friend of Roosevelt. Since there was this massive hatred between George Hurst, the Comstock and Utter I've been wondering if he was murdered. I have been trying to get PBS's "History's Detectives" to take up the case but they require some sort of item to begin with. (which I don't have)
