I actually met him once. He was one of the silliest people I ever met in my life. :(

Awww what a shame. A real 110% effort performer. Not many of those left.

There are other comedies worth seeing, out there.

Don Giovanni in Men in Tights. In Blazing Saddles wasnt he the director of the dance scene near the end?

Yeah, but they're all by Mel Brooks...

Dom Deluise was a great comedian, though. I don't think I've ever seen a show with him in it that wasn't better because of his talent. He even made the awful Burt Reynolds car chase movies better.

Very funny man and also a very good cook by all accounts. I just ordered one of his cookbooks to remember him by.

A real loss. Nothing funnier than Dom and Burt on Carson.

He was great in Mel Brooks's Silent Movie. A truly exceptional actor. May he R.I.P.

If you watch the airman guard you can see him trying desperately not to crack up in every scene.

I think he was an underrated comedian, but i don't think it's right to call him an actor. He didn't act; he just showed up and spread funny around.

Something the world definitely needs more of these days.
