Who is your favorite Marvel supervillain (or favorites, if you have more than one)?

Poll suggestions are welcome (I'll add one shortly).

Magneto. No contest at all. Takes second place to the Joker as my favorite comic book villain, and just might place on my top ten list of villains ever.

DC would be an easy choice: The Joker, because I love it when a man enjoys his work.

In Marvel, the choice is a little harder. Hmm. Does Deadpool count?

Magneto. Definitely marvels best villain because he's just protecting his own people. Sure that gets twisted along the way, but villains that are only a few degrees from being heroes are the most fun to read about.

I like Dr. Doom... he's just awesome. And the Crimson Dynamo, just because of his kickass name.

If you have any iron in your blood, I strongly suggest that you vote for Magneto. Lest he hear of your mockery and be....displeased.

Magnito is my favorite X-men character. X-men is the only marvel comic I read (always prefered DC). Therefore...

Magnito.

Magneto. One of the few villans with a code of honor.

Magneto and Dr. Doom. I'd add Venom but he isn't in the poll.

No Doc Oc?

Doc Ock narrowly missed being included in the poll. I wanted to limit the poll to one villain per hero.

Magneto of course. Dr. Doom is a very close second. Although I think magneto would turn him into a metal box.

but he doesn't do it to be a villain! Galactus is a force of nature! Elemental! That's like saying 'who's the greatest super villain. THE MOON, BECAUSE OF ALL THAT FLOODING.'

Galactus eats them to survive, not out of malice.

Dr Doom is covered with -metal-. the fight would last as long as it takes for magneto to INSTANTLY CRUSH HIM TO DEATH.

Right. because Doom isn't smart enough to make himself a suit made of non-magnetic material.

He's only been able to conquer a planet, steal the Silver Surfer's powers, steal the Beyonders powers, steal the Watcher's powers, etc. Let's face it. If he can do that, it would be fairly simple for him to steal Magneto's powers and then do whatever he feels like to Magneto.

He can do more than just telekinetically control magnetic things.

except... he couldn't hold on to all those powers he stole.

Except... Magneto can and has controlled a person through the iron in their blood (hard to cast spells when one's brain is deprived of blood.)

Magneto and Dr. Doom. I'd add Venom but he isn't in the poll.

.....

This is assuming that Magneto can even project his powers through Doom's armour, which is simply not true. Doom's armour has been protected against Magneto's powers.

By the way, Doom made Magneto his slave once before.

ah, and that's the thing. Magneto has quit the fight when he realises that what he's doing is not going towards his goal. and tho I stopped reading comics after the House of M storyline, Magneto has aquired (leagally) his own country and until that storyline, he held his country.

also, Magneto has tried to walk the line of Hero. and succeeded to a point. has Doom?

I can't see Victor Von Doom joining the FF or Avengers and playing by their rule.

You mean, other than when he conquered the entire planet?

Or when he teamed up with the rest of the FF against Reed Richards?

Or when he defeated Mephisto?
