Well, proper grammar and usage has nothing to do with moderation. But I do not believe I have any real warnings on my record, though I (accidentally) caused a great deal of offense and concern some-time back with my suicide thread, which was deleted.

nah, we should ban the use of the letter "C", its entirely useless, since we already have "K" and "S", so I move to ban the letter "C" and silent letters as well...

I do think having a bad record does not help.

> Found flamebaiting using pictures in Flags (you'd understand if you were there...I think - I'd never try to purposely piss off someone, that just wouldn't be very Canadian of me).
> Caught for "Trolling" & "Spamming", and "Pissing off people unintentionally with an offensive WA proposal" and putting threads in the wrong categories constantly.
> has a handful of closed and DEATed threads
> Just plain annoying at times...

Not proud of those things, but I did em' unfortunately
I think the mods were just being nice when they didn't DEAT me.

It would turn out in some popularity contest and a good mod doesn't need to be popular.

Internet forums shouldn't be democratic, since it has become rather clear to me over the years that the average internet forum enthusiast just can't handle his (or her, even though females are quite the minority on internet forums) freedom responsibly. I firmly support the presence of authoritarian forum moderators with the power to cleanse when necessary.
