I find that I learn all sorts of things on NSG.

I've learned about -

Maori Hakas
Rugby
Pesto recipes
The Cree Language
Manga and Doujinshi

and lots of other things.

What have you learned here? Was any of it useful?

I've learned that I'd piss myself laughing if a politician ask for a source during the debate.

Ive learned that people on the Internet are WRONG! lol


But, lots of things, I couldnt begin to list them, but the main thing I think, is a feel for other cultures, more Americans I think should be exposed to them...

I learned about Grey Mail.

Actually, I've always found that the amount I know is considerably smaller than the amount I know I don't know.

What have I learned? One's spelling and grammar doesn't truly reflect if they are sober or intoxicated. One doesn't have to be intoxicated to lack spelling and grammar skills.

We get points for damaging minds. The clown with the most points becomes Head Clown. I'm currently in the lead, but Bill O'Reilly is right behind me(zing!).

Holy hell seconding this. I can't even begin to figure out what thought processes lead to some of the more outrageous things said here. I've tried. I don't recommend it.

I also learned about canned whole chicken.

I've learnt that humans are much more interesting than I'd given them credit for.

I've learnt that a great deal of my opinions and normal modes of thought at repulsive to the majority.

I've learnt that while that remains true, many will sympathise with my position, and that is of great curiosity to me.

NSG has thought me that almost every issue can be a jumping point for a 100 page thread.

I've learned that even tho there are a Myrad of differeing viewpoints out there, I still consider each and everyone here a friend.

Just found a new one, Ive researched, thanx to NSG, and thereafter learned, the definition of the word "Mass Pedantry" :p

If we give up then we are claiming that we are wrong. Not an easy thing for stubborn people such as myself to do.

I've learned that there is always more to learn.

And that I'm not as conservative as I thought that I was.

Reading the entire "NASA moon-walker claims space alien cover-up" thread taught me that. Good thing my OP was pretty much my only post in that thread. :p

Every day I learn how right I am on every issue.

I have yet to learn why everyone doesn't realize it though.

NSG has thought me that almost every issue can be a jumping point for a 100 page thread.

And that no issue at all can be a jumping off point for a 100 page thread.

I've learned that bigots take offense at being called bigots...
ok, didn't really learn that here, but, whatever...

I have learned that homosexuals only want to marry to spite heterosexuals, that Poles are Mexican, and that women's urine can tame men.

I learned just how stupid the average internet political junky is.

I've learned that wanking to Communism is okay but jacking to Fascism isn't even though they are just different sides of the same oppressive socialist coin.

I learned that kraut/jerry/hun/fritz/nazi, wop/dago/ginzo/greaseball, cracker/gringo/honky/wigger, wetback/beaner, chink/jap/gook/nip/chinaman/charlie, coon/Uncle Tom/crow/macaca/kaffir/tar baby/thick lips, and bitch/dyke/fag/etc. are all considered acceptable speech on NSG but n-i-g-g-e-r and c-u-n-t are not.
