Ugly nerds can create evidence for their imagined affairs

»Traces of an Imaginary Affair« is a kit containing a set of nine tools which can be used to create an imaginary affair. These tools leave marks on the body, such as bite marks, carpet burns, bondage marks, love bites, scratches and bruises. In addition, probes of perfume, lipstick and hair can be applied to either the body or clothes. The project broaches the issue of intentionally instigated jealousy in relationships, which often serves to bolster self-esteem or to test the strength of partnerships. It was inspired by stories of people who used fake evidence of victimisation or illnesses to receive attention from others.

Unbelievable why would anyone put that much effort into this? Very strange

You know between this and the pre-distressed, pre-stained, pre-worn jeans that people buy, I am beginning to suspect that if people put as much time and effort into having experiences as they do into faking experiences, they wouldn't have to fake experiences. :p

So someone has decided to package what young teens do already.

Good entrepreneurship I say.

But real experience requires interaction with people that is scary.

thats funny, because I've never gotten any of the things the kit is supposed to reproduce. Does this mean my real affairs aren't realistic enough?

lulz.

One of my gay mates held down one of my strait ones and gave him a love bite so his girlfriend would think he was cheating.

Yeah, he would have done if he weren't homophobic.

 He's homophobic so he hangs around with a gay guy who gives him love bites?

You know, an easier and more fun to get your girlfriend/wife to leave you is to actually have an affair.

Damn you! What my vacuum cleaner and I have is real. Sure she may not talk, but she breathes. Or at least inhales. And boy does she inhale. And she doesn't judge. She doesn't laugh at me. She doesn't complain that I didn't clean the floor. And while my ex (http://www.oaktreeent.com/misc/Electrolux_XXX_Vintage_Vacuum_Cleaner_web.jpg)would never get off her back my current (http://www.appliancist.com/miele-vacuum-cleaner-s7.jpg) goes both ways. I'm not using her love bites to pretend I have a girlfriend. The world just wouldn't understand.

But soon gay marriage will be a reality. Then it's just a short journey to man-appliance love.

Just kidding. I actually have a wife and child. But... um, you wouldn't know them. They post on another forum. :$

Is is actually for sale? Or, as it seems from looking at the site, is it just an art project off showing the designer's cleverness?

Wow, I hate scratches down my back, especially when I've got to drive the next day. Why would you want to fake that?
