I'm not quoting the entire article, mainly because it's too long, but I will provide the link.

I just hope NASA know what it's doing and it's not burning money. Hehe get it, sun, burning? :D

That's nuts. The sun will melt those two space probes. That's just crazy and I hope they get the data in time before the destruction of those two space probes. *shrugs*

I think being the first man on the sun is every child's dream isn't it?

also do you think they will find water or maybe even life?

Once in orbit, it will circle the Sun every 150 years.

its going to be in a tighter orbit than Earth but its going to take 150 times as long to travel

I wonder what Ra has to say about this.

massive explosions from the Sun's surface, were thought to run in an 11-year cycle, but the latest quiet period has gone on longer than usual.

the world really is going to end in 2012.

They forgot the Imperial to Metric conversion again.

can't they just film it on Earth like the good old days?

It will go around the sun very very slow...or it was supposed to be 150 days or something.

This is a military strike against the Sun because everone knows the Sun is the major hub of Space pirates

I think the idea is to milk as many research grants as possible out of this :p

and how many people do you know with a massive porno stash going to waste due to blindness?

Well, seeing as they've been faking missions since Apollo, doesn't matter much which to fake - Moon, Mars, Sun.

Well, it would be a logical place for Ra to keep his porn stash. *nods*

One mission they haven't faked... Uranus.

Nah, somewhere along the line it got changed to 150 days. I think it's very cool and the engineering involved in building something able to withstand the stress of being that close to the Sun should be amazing.

It's about damn time we started to learn more about the Sun. Can't wait to see the results of this.

In 2015, when this thing's supposed to launch.

How so? Have you no sense of adventure? And we can afford it, in the overall scheme of things, and still spend money on people right here.

If we're all still here by then, 2012 does loom over us, like some kind of looming thing, that looms.
