Well here is the deal got a letter from them.
Out of curiosity I opened it.
There were no hey come check out our church invitations. In fact they have no local church.
Inside was a prayer cloth and and testimonies of those who have had their prayers answered if you follow these instructions.
The instructions were to pray with the cloth tonight and put it under my bed, also included was the prayer seed instructions. Apparently I should seed my prayer with a check to the church. Needless to say I didn't send any money.
Has anyone else heard of Saint Mattew's churches?

I suggest you seed the cloth in a more onanistic way and send it back to them.

Two words, Bottled Water.
Is great since I can fill it back up using the tap, and carry the bottle around.

But if you're going to do that, why not just buy an actual water bottle? I have this nice one with a metal cap that I carry around with me everywhere and refill when I pass a water fountain. It lasts me much longer than the disposable bottles would, plus it holds a lot more water.

Well, you do have to wash it and it takes up space when it's not needed. Of course, you could just put the damn plastic bottle in a recycling bin rather than throw it away or on the ground...

Y'know, I seem to recall this one guy getting kinda upset about religions seeking after temporal wealth, way back in the day ... name of Yesu bin Yosef or something like that ...

i got one of those a few years back. it was verrrrry creepy.
when i looked them up i found that they were poaching off the reputation of a st matthew's church somewhere in oklahoma (i think, it could have been kansas). i guess they finally stopped that.
its so extremely religiously incorrect that i had a bit of fun figuring out how many ways it was wrong.

Unsurprising really. Check out their website (http://www.saintmatthewschurches.com/index.aspx).
Never mind whether they're real or not, why on earth would you send money to an organisation that abuses apostrophes in such a manner?

That's actually pretty hilarious. How big is that "rug"? If it would make a good placemat, it might be worth a few "seeds" to get a set for my kitchen. But I'm not giving them back. That's dumbass. Let them plant some of those "seeds" to buy another color ink cartridge for their sacred printer.
