The Strathclyde Police force have eight Jedi amongst their officers

http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/scotland/glasgow_and_west/8003067.stm

Jane's Police Review editor Chris Herbert, who requested the information, said: "The Force appears to be strong in Strathclyde Police with their Jedi police officers and staff.

"Far from living a long time ago in a galaxy far, far away, some members of the noble Jedi order have now chosen Glasgow and its surrounding streets as their home."

I am not sure why Freedom of Information requests actually cover what belief system police officers follow - seems a bit intrusive to me.

What would you rather read about in the morning papers, expenses claims for bed in MPs second homes or jedi police?

Or maybe...

Sgt Yoda: Greed leads desperation. Desperation leads to crime. Crime leads to jedi police. Jedi police leads to excessive force. Excessive force... leads to suffering.

Criminal: I don't like suffering.

Sgt Yoda: Then surrender you must hmm? Else beating you may receive. Come quietly you will.

Qui Gon was considered boarder line Grey Jedi.
And he wanted to pay for it, just they weren't going to take his money.

Have they ever shown Taggart on TV in Italy, they are Strathclyde police officers? Apparently the series is classed as a film noir in France as its subject matter is so bleak.
