I know some of you don't care.

But, if you wouldn't mind having a two minute moment of silence today for those that died 20 years ago today at Hillsborough stadium.
Where 96 Liverpool FC fans in their love for their team were crushed to death due to the negligence of the police.
The 96 were either crushed to death or suffocated due the sheer mass of people.
The moment of silence begins 3:06

I was about to make a thread on this.

http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/england/merseyside/7999279.stm Incredibly sad, and the police not only caused this, but then stood about while people were being crushed to death.

A terrible tragedy indeed.

The actions of certain police and the editorial staff of The Sun afterwords were despicable.

One of the reasons why The Sun should be held in the upmost contempt their coverage of the story was full of outright lies and the largest amount of bs that has ever been spewed by the British tabloids. They did correct the story later and admitted that they made a mistake but are yet to apologise for it.

People die shitty deaths everyday. When would be appropriate? For some people it may be better to laugh and celebrate then to mourn.

They did apologise a few years back. It was rejected.

And should continue to be rejected.
