The SSA Party: The thinking spammers party

For those that want to just cut to the chase:
The SSA is running for the NSG govt on the promise of equal opportunity and freedom for all NSers. We believe that while debate and discussion is an important part of NS culture it is not the only part. Therefore through long winded wording we are saying that we want to bring back the fun of NS without compromising the integrity of the debate part of NSG.
The SSA: synonymous with friendship, cooperation and the uniting power of fun. An organization founded upon the principles that everyone deserves a shot. We do not discriminate against people or organizations for their values they hold. We think it is not a persons values which make them right but their attitude to other peoples values.
This may be our first attempt in an election, and we may not have many supporters due to our controversial politics, but we shall fight strong and long for what we believe in: Freedom of speech and thought and a desire for fun. Over the past years we have been earmarked with the title of a group of rule-breaking antisocial demons. We promise you, the users and lovers of NS that that is a complete misrepresentation of our nature and desires. We are a group of intelligent cooperative people that enjoy participating in both the more intellectual and more fun genres.
Our public figures:
All public figures are well respected members of the Nationstates forums who have proven their dedication and commitment to making sure this forum can survive the test of time. They vary in history and interests. Yet we all get along and are united by our love of not-being-asshats-to-each-other:
RhynoD: A person(we think) a love of the English language and its' uses! Never one to miss out on a well thought out and timed remark!
Moleland: An intelligent creature of English heritage. He believes that life is nothing without a fresh patch of grass to dig around. He thinks that if people spent more time trying to be nice, everyone could survive
Nanatsu No Tsuki: Nanatsu, though a recent addition to the SSA is a strong member. She is fun loving and a great friend to have
Demonic Gophers: Some of you may remember our friend DG from the days before forum seven. He was one of the key players in the war of the mods majik powahs and shall always be remembered in NS lore. He is returning for this election in a hope of taking NS back to the forum of fun and freedom it was 4 years ago.
We promise:
We, of the SSA believe and hereby decree, that upon election, we will strive to fight to the extent of our power for:
- All groups will have an equal footing within Nationstates.
- All people will be free to choose their own opinions
- Fun shall never be outlawed! Many of us come home from a long day at the office or at school, and we come onto nationstates and its' spin off forums for the purpose of fun, and relaxation. Our goal is not to harm others, but rather make friends.
- We may have our nonsensical fun threads, just like they may have their serious heeby-jeeby threads.
- Of course, all things must be in moderation, and we are more than willing to admit we don't need a million threads on the same tpic on the first page!
- Moderators are not to be ignored, but merely mocked behind their backs.
- A non-segregated Nationstates
- Places for fun and jubilation
- That we will not hold you all for ransom in a bid to make 10 million dollars until at least halfway through our term
- Advancement of the Chosen people of the actual dog, with respect to peoples freedom of choice!
- A committed group of people willing to work to make our Nationstates and the future Nationstates 2 an easier place to play, discuss and decimate.
- A 26% increase in thread hijackings in threads that really don't deserve to stay on topic.
The SSA Party hierarchy:

Minister of Foreign Affairs and Smexy Negotiations: Nanatsu

Minister of n00bs: Belschaft
Minister of Evil Public Affairs or Cover-ups: Soggy
Minister of Piracy and Swashbuckling Affairs: Kazikamimoto
Minister of random Insanity (including bird attacks and dragon related destruction of property): The/That Imperial Navy
So, How can you help the SSA?
If you have decided that you wish to help further the cause of freedom of fun, then we have several ways that you can support us:
- You can become an Active party member! We accept all people of all persuasions into our party as long as they are willing to work alongside a team of people with varied backgrounds. Members must desire fun and mutual respect. If you think this is you, come along to The SSA forums (http://z8.invisionfree.com/ssa05). You are sure to get a warm welcome of being blown up, eaten and toasted (both in the literal and metaphorical sense)
- You can Vote SSA on election days/week/however long the pols are open for: This is the easiest method, but if you believe in what the SSA believes in, then you will want to support us more actively, by either doing the former option (joining us) or the next option (helping promote our message)\
- Help promote the SSA message: If you think that The SSA is really worth supporting, but don't have the time to actively commit and participate in our activities, then you may find it both convenient and encouraging to use your avatar or signature to advertise us (Or Both!) You can do this by just setting your avatar as one of the images below (feel free to just hotlink to them - no need to waste your server space) or by using one of our signature suggestions below. Or you can link to us through any method you choose!
