Anyone else excited about this movie? For you non Brits, In the Loop is a film adaptation of the series The Thick of It, which I think was one of the greatest political satires of the last 20 years or so. Apparently there was also an aMERKIN version of it that I haven't seen, but I heard it wasn't that great. But anyway, this film looks great and is already receiving fantastic reviews. Here's a trailer, but I don't think it really shows much, since most of the hilarious bits have loads of swearing in also which they can't show:

You silly. If we don't know what In the Loop is, we won't know what the Thick of It was (most likely).
What exactly did the show satirize?

I am not familiar with either the T.V. series or the film, but I freely admit that the trailer looks great.

I suspect you would particularly enjoy it, since it's a very cynical look at the inner workings of politics and spin etc...

It looks like a fairly accurate depiction of political workings, judging from the biographies I have read. I look forward to seeing the little buggers squirm as they try to screw each other. :)
Perfect music.

Actually, unfortunately, I don't think it will be released outside of the UK in cinemas.
EDIT: DISREGARD THAT, I was wrong.

The British just love their cynical political sitcoms don't they?
