Eh last week it was homosexuality this week its Obama.

Next week will be the ethics of mud wrestling. Mark my words.

To get the ball rolling, is mud wrestling ethical?

Yep, if you dont want to mud wrestle, or watch people mud wrestling, then dont participate...

If you do, then go ahead...

Simple, next!

Is mud wrestling a euphamism for abortion?

If so I'm pro-choice, I simply do not understand the 'pro-life' position's lack of humanity.

Is wrestling illegal or immoral? No.
Is mud illegal or immoral? No.
Is wrestling in mud illegal or immoral? I think not.

To use your logic, friend Kat (and I do apologise for the infelicitous example) ...

Is sex illegal or immoral? No.
Are children illegal or immoral? No.
Is sex with children illegal or immoral? Hell yes.

A+B does not necessarily equal C, and your deconstructionist logic does a disservice to the brave men and women who risk their lives to wrestle in mud every day. I salute our mud-wrestling heroes!

Mud wrestling should not only be legal; it should be mandatory.

Mud wrestling is ethical, if the mud consents.

Which it probably can't, so ... no.

But this raises a broader issue of Whether inanimate objects should have to have consent or not?

We should not walk on the ground, since it cannot consent.
Nor eat anything, touch anything ... perhaps we shouldn't even be looking at things.
Or thinking about them.

Did you ask your hands for consent?

I prefer jello wrestling, as you can eat it afterwards... Well I suppose you could eat mud as well but it probably just isn't as tasty as jello. Kind of gritty I'd imagine.

This raises an interesting question. If regular mud wrestling isn't immoral, is nude mud wrestling immoral? And if so, why? Is it the 'nude' part? Does the mud obscure or highlight the 'areas of interest', so to speak? And if it obscures them, does that mitigate the nudity?

Maybe I can get a federal grant to study these questions, you never know, they've splashed out money for stupider things.

The Bible clearly endorses mud wrestling

As long as it is for adult entertainment and both girls are hot it is ethical.

Ah, but friend Tsaraine, in mud wrestling both participants are generally in the same weight/age class, therefore negating the need to bring icky pedophilia analogies to the table.

Is mud unethical? No.
Is nudity unethical? No. (though walking around someone's picnic table with your hot dog hanging out definitely may violate some decency laws).

It's not a matter of icky analogies, it's a matter of invalid argumentation.

I volunteer to participate in such a study.

Purely because I value the spread of knowledge, of course.

Now this is an answer. Public funding for mud wrestling. Genius. If you get a grant let us all know.

Nothing say body slam like a face full of mud. You would think that mud would be much softer than the ring. Even though they have tons of springs under there.
