I think this movie would traumatize children rather than entertain them and show them that everybody poops. Jeez, it's worse than Pee Wee Playhouse.

It matters? The fact that there's even a book is... Disturbing.

when my niece's daughter was 4 she decided that pooping was disgusting and that she wasnt going to do it any more.
this, as you may imagine, led to all sorts of problems. they had to go on a big "everyone poops" campaign to convince her that it was OK.

It's a good book. I read it to my kids when we were beginning to potty train. Also, about 29 other books about "going potty", it makes the whole thing less stressful for them.
I'll wait for the Catholic version "That's not poop, that's concentrated Evil coming out of you."

The trailer for Spike Jonze's adaptation of Where the Wild Things Are has just come out, this is a not so subtle stab at Spike Jonze adapting classic childrens books.
For safeties sake, Wilgrove, Jonathan Swift does not actually want you to eat children.
Your cheek must be riddled with fish hook holes.
EDIT: Having actually watched the trailer and looked at the posting, I have to give the benefit of the doubt to Wilgrove that he's fucking with us, going along with the parody as a way of presenting a pretty good one (If you watch the Where the Wild Things Are trailer, because to have missed the parody would have been a HUGE miss, so I'm willing to suspect that I'm the sucker here. Otherwise, yeesh...

It's a parody of the "Where the Wild Things Are" trailer, Wil.
