Bagels and Cream Cheese: The Conspiracy?

Apparently I am in a very thoughtful, or thoughtless mood today; and there is plenty to inspire me to make threads on NS.. perhaps because I have been neglecting to make my pointless threads? Anyway I have a new theorem that I think NS is the perfect testing ground for.

Ok so I decided it was time for breakfast. I wasn't in a cereal mood, I couldn't find any toaster pastries in my beloved strawberry flavor and and all the raisin bran was gone regardless so I looked into other breakfast options when I realized I still had some bagels left, and I always buy cream cheese to go along with them. There was however a problem... I had 1 bagel left and no cream cheese. I got to thinking about it, and I suddenly recall that this happens every time I buy bagels and cream cheese: I run out of one, before I run out of the other...
I settled for lunch (I made a sandwich using the bagel and heated up some left over potato soup)

So fellow NSGrs, skipping the boring commentary on my life.

Does this happen to you?
Do you think that the manufacturers of bagels and the manufacturers of cream cheese are working together to ensure that you never have enough of one or the other?
Is there any credence to my theory, and should I test it further?

BTW, volunteers to buy and eat lots of bagels with lots of cream cheese should sign up now too.

This is proof, incontravertable proof that you should be using real cheese instead of ungodly cream cheese. I would advise Brie, possibly Edam.

Yes they are and hot dogs and bun manufacturers. Why do packages of Hot dogs come in 10 to a pack but buns only come in 8?

So that you have to buy 8 packs of hot dogs and 10 packs of buns.
Or perhaps its to accommodate those weirdos who don't eat bread?

You see. I think it is those bun manufacturers. Since when do things in a bakery not come in dozens? Hmmm, alright we are on to you guys.

Your friendly Grammar Nazi Police have edited the title of your thread for spelling and grammar. Here to serve and protect. Have a good day. :)Bad Mod! You shouldn't edit people's posts unless they are in contravention of teh rules. Whilst sometimes frustrating, bad grammar or spelling is not against the rules (according to my own internal morality) and can help keep a thread off topic (yay!).

The only think better than a bagel with creamed cheese is a bagel with creamed cheese and salmon or bacon, but not both. Never both. Salmon and bacon together as a sandwich filler is a sign of the End of Days.

Everything should be sold in dozens. 12 Beer, 12 hot dogs, 12 buns or we could all go metric and have 10's. 10 beer, 10 hot dogs, 10 buns.

so that you buy 4 packs of hotdogs and 5 of buns, thus promoting friendliness when you invite your neigbours over for barbeacues and making you fat.
