On a very special...

Last night House had a very special episode that deals with suicide. It was a "very special" episode because at the end, they had an ad for a suicide prevention hotline. Anyways, even though they killed off one of my favorite characters on House (beside House himself), I thought the episode was very well done. I especially love the reaction of House himself to the news, since he never saw it coming he thought that it must have been a homicide. However, by the end of the episode House accepts that it was a suicide.

Now I've seen alot of "very special" episodes of different TV shows, and I gotta say, House did a beautiful job with it. Most of the time these type of episode comes off as preachy and self righteous (especially on sex, drugs, and alcohol) but "13" just stated one statistic and then it shows how everyone reacts to the suicide.

Spoiler:It was Kutner that committed suicide.

So, what's your favorite "Very special" episode of a TV show? What do you think of them?

I guess I can delete that off my DVR without watching it when I get home. You want to tell me what happened on Heroes too?

I don't watch Heros.

Also, I never got this. Why should the discussion of anything related to a TV show, or a sporting event prevent you from watching it and enjoying it? I'm just not getting that. I mean yes I've had people do the same thing to me, and honestly my reaction is "Oh wow, I can't wait to see it."

Maybe I'm just weird.

On a very special episode of Nation States General!

Smunkeeville is stuck in Houston Texas when Wilgrove ruins the plot for the newest episode of House; Trve still isn't serious; and will Neo Art accept SaintB's apology?

I had to

Hey!

NSG would most likely be a drama, not a soap opera. If it was a soap opera, there'd be alot more sex going on, between members of NSG.

And you think there wouldn't be, if you were not all limited by the constraints of a text-only interface? I'm pretty sure that if this place were a Metaverse-style VR environment you'd all be going at it like rabbits.

That'd def. push NSG from PG-13 up to R or MA-17.

Critiquing the obviously sub-par writing of Heroes is hardly rampant elitism.
