Going a Bit Too Far, Do You Think?

Hugging and other physical contact was banned at this school. Why? Because a student was kicked in the groin and had to be sent to the emergency room. It's obvious, isn't it, hugging causes violence (and I already thought there were rules against violence in schools).

So does this mean that the school is going to ban contact sports, school dances, school plays and any other activity that might, possibly (gasp) lead to a touch between students?

I think this crosses a line. We want to protect kids, not smother them. Or is this just the school administrator protecting himself against lawsuits?

NSG is full of parents, teachers, lawyers and students - what do you think?

I agree in that children should be deprived of as many freedoms as possible, in order to prepare them for the real world.

Well, yeah, I mean, groin-kicking is just a gateway activity that leads to groin-groping and then groin-fondling and then ... ... people will be wanting to marry animals!

It does crosses a line.

Of course, I don't like to be touched by people (some few exceptions of course) so I don't care if hugging or contact in general is banned, everywhere. But that's just me.

I do see where this school's banning has crossed the line. Human beings are creatures that, in general, like contact with others.

It's fucking stupid to do such a thing, but in this day and age, it really doesn't surprise me.

There are pampered pussies everywhere, probably mostly here in America that just don't have jack shit to do with their lives so they figure they can just take the liberty of doing shit like this so they can feel accomplished, even if it takes society backwards.

I went to an all boys school so rules against physical contact weren't required, the all pervaiding fear of homosexuality saw to that.

The best part was they still didn't bring any in after a couple in the mixed sixth form snapped a toilet off the wall in the ladies whle having sex. The flood was hilarious.

The best way to protect children is to not have any at all. I call for a world wide ban on pregnancy, that show 'em what we think of running with scissors.

Ban on just pregnancy, or should we ban sex too? You know, sex involves a lot of physical contact, we should probably stop that as well.

Good idea. May as well ban love and other emotions while we are at it.
