So, what say you, NSG? A serious threat? A bluff? Something else?

Discuss.

If he launched a successful attack (unlikely), we would be back to the good ol' neo-cons running everything.

Maybe in a few years. But if you're talking about a scenario where (God forbid) Obama is killed, their would be Biden and then Pelosi behind him in the chain of command. I really doubt one attack would get all three, unless it was a nuclear or bio attack.

In fact, I'd think a big terror attack might increase Obama's odds of reelection. Its true that the GOP would spin it as Bush preventing an attack, and then one happening because the Democrats/Obama were in power, but the public is known to be reluctant to switch Presidents during war time.

If Pelosi became President, I would opt for one of two choices: Exile or suicide. She is one of the most evil people in American politics.

I don't like Obama, but I don't think he or anyone else in the White House should be killed.

I was just talking about a regular attack; I doubt they could kill the President.

Obama would lose to any Republican who favored invading Iran.

I think your title is a bit misleading, especially when the title of the article reads.

"Pakistan: Suspected US missile kills 12 militants"

It did change the title bar on firefox though. Well done Yahoo. Ha ha.

Do you have a single source, argument, or supporting piece of evidence of any kind to back up that claim?

Besides, there's no way she can be the most evil while Rush Limbau is involved in American politics.:)

Their are generally no garuntees in politics, especially not with election outcomes that are years away. Did you guess four years ago that Obama would be President today?

Aren't Ebil Mozlemz a hivemind entity? So why would this Taliban fruitcake go after brother in arms Sauron?

But seriously, it says about how seriously jihadis see the new administration as a threat to its interests as opposed to the previous one that practically multiplied its propaganda and recruitment drive.

She's a corrupt, unprincipled, unscrupulous political prostitute who gets elected on the back of false promises and then shamelessly breaks them all. She pretends to be against the Iraq War, but has done nothing at all to make any effort to stop it. And no, the occasional slap on the wrist does not constitute "effort." She also played a key role in protecting Bush from impeachment.

Limbaugh may be more evil, but he doesn't hold public office. I should have specified and said "most evil person in American politics holding public office."

Making her one of the most evil people on earth if true.

"Brother in arms?"

(I know you're being facetious, of course, but what do you mean "brother in arms"?)

It's a reference to the popular right wing notion that Obama is a secret Muslim who's also a possible Manchurian Candidate for Islamists.

Meh, Im not worried, I think they need to worry more about getting out of the mountains in Afghanistan/Pakistan as opposed to making threats they cant act on...

Even though no evidence exists whatsoever to suggest that he is a Muslim? That's just sad.

An attack is always possible in a country like ours. It is something we will just have to learn to live with. I will not allow a terrorist to influence American politics. In the even of an attack I will vote for all incumbents in the next two elections.

Idle threat. They don't have the ability. If they did though...heh...thats cause in my mind for an all out invasion of Pakistan, something I've been advocating for quite some time.

God I hated that rumour, its so unbelievably disrespectful on so many levels. Even if he was Muslims: so what? Who gives a god damn. I sure don't. A person's beliefs don't make them evil. I've read the Qur'an, and I actually have found that I believe in Islam as my personal faith. Does that make me an evil bloodsucking terrorist? I think not. As many of you know (and regularly call me out on ;)) NOONE on this forum advocates hunting own and destroying the terrorists with as much vigor as I do.

Yes, let's invade a nation of over 150 million people, a nation where we're already widely hated, a nation with nuclear weapons. Sounds like a winner, all right!

Right, because all of a sudden the Constitution and the hierarchy of elected officials is destroyed and then the country gets handed back to Bush?

What ARE you smoking?

Interesting article. He didn't seem too pissed at us until we shot a couple missiles at his people. Of course the Pakistani's asked us to do it, it seems. And seeing as how hes making Pakistan unstable, I can see why we would want to be rid of him, even if he didn't have a particular beef with us before now.
