Copy and Pate

I was just arguing with a friend of mine about a pretty common argument, but he copy and pasted an essay from a website to "prove his point" since neither of us is actually going to budge and its just for the sake of argument i told him he cant use that aas a reason because he didnt think of it.

Does anyone support him in saying that copying and pasting is a good way to be proven correct?

IF he has posted anything that supports him actually being "proven correct" then he wins.....you lose. Pretty simple?

there are few original points to be made.

but if he is going to copy and paste an essay *shudder* he needs to highlight the parts that makes his point and say why they make his point.
