The current inactivity limit is 28 days normally, longer if you're in "Vacation Mode" (I forget the exact number, but it as around 60 days).

I found this site on July 23, 2003, and have been stuck here ever since, unable to escape.

December 8th 2003, if I recall correctly, although as of late i've only been visiting every couple of months.

I started playing NS when I was nine, too.

Of course... back then we played it by mailing our turns to each other on cassette tapes, which we happily loaded into out 14k processors, so we could look at it all in it's 8 bit glory.

And... I think it might have been about a mole, back then.

Any particular reason?

Not really. Awhile ago I found other diversions. Last year I was busy with study, and this year i've decided to continue my education down a different path (i'm either going to end up as a graphics designer or a programmer now, lulz)

Six, seven years ago, perhaps. Not bothered to register as I was sure that my account would expire anyway, as I did not have a stable Internet connection back then.

Rediscovered it around September 2006, coughed up the courage and the commitment to register and keep this nation alive.

i was 18 when i found this place (NSG) as some call it. sometime last year. on voyforums, www.voy.com/29530/, someone said join the british empire on nationstates. i seem to remember there being a link to www.nationstates.net or a page on the said site, at least. so i created a nation, then another one as a colony (some people in behaved wanted more political freedom), as behaved was democratic socialist, then psychotic dictatorship cause i barcoded citizens, not my first decision, fyi, then iron fist consumerists, then father knows best state. it was during father know best state days i made grades. then my government was new york times democracy or inoffensive centrist democracy; it flip-flopped a few times. then it went coporate bordello, back to new york times or inoffensive centrist democracy, maybe had a few days of both, now it's a corporate bordello again.

So, this feeling of nostalgia was totally unaccounted for :p

I'm rather young, joining the game in April of '08, and joining the forums in May, so I'm about a year old.

Sometime in 2005, but after Katrina I lost interest for awhile, and I had never posted in the forums at the time....

Then I decided to make a new nation in January of '08, and started posting in NSG this time....

then It got perma-banned, so I made this account in.....I believe Aug '08
