UNTINGTON BEACH, Calif. – Police are seeking a woman they said used a false identity to get breast implants and liposuction, then skipped town. Huntington Beach police said Monday that a 30-year-old woman opened a line of credit in someone else's name in September 2008 and had the procedures worth more than $12,000 performed at the Pacific Center For Plastic Surgery.

Employees said she never returned for follow-up visits.

Police said the woman faces charges of commercial burglary, grand theft and identity theft.

I know lots of people are fake, but this is... really fake...

Somehow, seeing a plastic surgeon get scammed doesn't bother me. I don't know how this is anything other than run-of-the-mill theft/identity theft, though, or how the woman earned the made-up-word/title "fakeist," but it makes me smile anyway.

Here are my quick observations. I believe in loving the way God made you as well. If you so choose to change yourself that is your business. However, if you get yourself a set of DD's and then get mad when people look at them you are just a flaming arsehole. I'm in the liking of the B/C range as well. Frankly, I'm more interested in what's behind you than what's in front. The worst of all things is what a radio host has deemed a "Flatso." It's a fat girl with a flat chest. He states, "the only advantage to being a fat girl is having the boobs. Without them you got the real ass end of the evolutionary stick." This lady was clever and plastic surgeons can make up that $ loss in two days.

Also- I personally dislike even such things as makeup, let alone breast implants. Once, my girlfriend wore a bit of like eye shadow or something and all I could say was "Amie.. you look ... weird..." Natural beauty for the win!

i have no standard as my girlfriends keep changing. cos she decides to exersice and then can't be bothered but then can be bothered so they never stay the same :) but on average i think hers are a nice perky C.

Don't think women do it to please men really. To be honest guys don't really care in the end. As long as most guys are fed and get some lovin every once in a while we are content. I think women do it for other women.

I guess I can agree with you there. We women are competitive with each other. I just don't see myself undergoing plastic surgery of any kind, I am happy with what Mother Nature gave me, and those who have been my partners say the same.

To be fair, there's quite a difference. Plastic surgery is intended to deceive and appear completely natural. Tattoos and piercings are the equivalent of longer-lasting clothing apparel.

Plastic surgery can be good and it can be bad. I've seen it done well where it looks great. Obviously, when people get work done that creates obviously unnatural and unnerving proportions among parts of the body, it's going to not look quite so great. Really, though, I find the staunch "wrar, I hate plastic surgery, fake tits are disgusting blablablabla" tend to be similar to the "I think blondes are horribly unattractive" crowd; i.e. they're full of it.

Well, yea, but the underlying principle is somewhat different, I'd say. The point of plastic surgery is to discretely increase people's likelihood to pay you attention, the point of piercings and tattoos, at their core, is to do the same but to do it indiscreetly.

I agree, though; the hypocrisy is annoying. Anyone who gets piercings, tattoos or, I'd go so far as to say, would wear clothes should the law and climate not require it is obviously not OK with how their body is, under all situations. This implies it's a contextual thing, and obviously people who get fake tits big enough serve Peking Duck off of are operating under a different context than those who like who make value judgments at them.

As for Plastic Surgery, honestly I don't see a problem with anyone getting plastic surgery. I mean I've gotten 4 ear reconstruction surgery and 5 jaw reconstruction surgery, and I may get a scar removal treatment soon.

I got them because I wasn't happy with my body, and I was tired of standing out. Unfortunately it didn't really work because people have better eye sights than I give them credit for. >.<

If a person isn't happy with their body, then they should change it.

Orly? Ear piercings, lip, nose and bellybutton piercings are all about self-expression? Even tattoos, I would say, are maybe about self-expression only a bit over half the time. A chick getting a trampstamp, or some dude getting some totally rad kanji...is about "vanity."

And why is this a bad thing? Ffs, when did wanting to look what you consider to be beautiful become a bad thing? Arrogance is a bad thing, yes, but vanity as you seem to be using it is just a desire for self-beatification which isn't any worse than someone whose all about increasing their musical capabilities or some such. I grew to like myself with black hair, with amber eyes, with pale skin, fit but not too fit, petite.

I used to think I needed to change a lot of myself when I hit puberty. I coloured my hair every shade of red imaginable, I used contact lenses (green and purple), went on stringent diets, pretended I was someone I was not. And then, as I became older, I guess I was between 24 or 25, I realized I was ok the way I was.

Yeah I might hit that realisation myself, in a couple of years time, maybe if I ever hit what I am trying to achieve. I don't know but as you would remember it can be hell at times not being happy with yourself especially when something doesn't work out well because of the way you are.
