And married her and she killed him.

That's all kinds of weird and messed up. Sounds like an episode of Springer, except with more death.

Yep. I'd let that individual exercise me to death any day.

Call me old fashioned, but I'm pretty sure you don't lose weight by making someone else exercise...that thing looks like it could use hitting the pool a little more than her victim. It's not like buying carbon credits for your SUV.

It is when those credits are actually life insurance claims.

This story is quite disturbing, really all of it, but this part especially:

A security videotape shows Chris Mason pulling her husband by his arms and legs on June 2, tossing and dunking him. Sometimes he clings to the side of the pool and his wife pulls him away. She appears to block his path as he tries to get out of the water — 43 times, by the police chief's count."

I can still see how there could be a reasonable doubt if she actually tried to kill him, although pulling the plug on him in the hospital the next day speaks volumes, imo. And then theres the suspicions of prior abuse, and her getting into fights at bars. Really looking at it again, I couldn't imagine tossing or dunking my 70-something grandparents, I honestly would think I could kill them by doing so.

Ok... so if she pleads guilty to reckless homocide she'll get up to five years? Shouldn't she get up to five years for reckless driving, and something closer to a life sentence without parole for reckless homocide.

I don't know... it seems like any crime done, where 'reckless' can be applied should have the punishment doubled... and any crime where 'homocide' can be applied should be punished by a life sentence.

Then again American Justice is a mockery of any true sense of justice. I agree with illegalization of drugs... but to think that dope-smokers who got caught selling once are in prison for the same tenure as someone ho is charged with reckless homocide just makes my skin crawl.

Also... yeah what a crazy-weird story....

How does that speak volumes?

If you're going to get a femme fatale trophy wife who tries to murder you for your money, you should at least get a hot one.
