violence is everywhere. in the real world two people feuding over who has a bigger gun and who has more bullets can lead to global war. but sometimes its never the big guy with the big gun that wins like in Vietnam and the rebellion against the French or in japans conflict against the Russian nation.

if you were a political leader how would you carry out you strategic battle plans with only 5X10^6 solders on hand against 7X10^7? like in Iraq with religious deception and human weapons? Vietnam and there hidden rabbit holes along with wire traps and tunnels. or WWI style trench fighting?

i prefer the trench system, brings two groups to a level playing field and if you can beat the enemy that ether means you have a lot of people or really sneaky belly crawlers. also everyone was plainly marked, Germans looked German, Russians looked Russian, and Britts looked like pussy's... i mean Britts. and we would do this all in the Siberian tundra of death. no rain, but a shit load of white.

Not like we weren't the only ones who stuck through it with dubious allies from 1914 through to the final victory over Germany to 1918, in every theatre outside of the Eastern Front, brought tanks onto the battlefield and kept the Germans all starved and shit so we eventually won. When did the US get involved, again?

Anyway, I'd personally prefer and Iraq type situation for the enemy so the baddies were terrible marksmen with no talent for tactics when they tried to attack regular forces, and the main thing that the baddies do is kill their own civilians which totally undermines how a resistance force ought to work. Also, since most of the country is open and shit it's not like your troops are going to get killed so long as they simply stay out of the cities.
