Yeah, that. It also depends on your preferences, personal likes dislikes, degree of independence versus interdependence, lots of things.

My aunt is in a relationship with a guy who lives on a different continent, each year they spend about 4 months with each other, 2 months in either country, otherwise they talk mostly daily on Skype.

By the end of those two months they can hardly bear to be in the same room, yet 4 months later they can't wait to be with each other.

Point being, there's no real 'best'.

in highschool its best not to think long term. booty calls and short love relationships are best.

Long distance relationships are tough, for sure. Over the years I tried to maintain two in the US (not at the same time ;) ) and one with a girl on the other side of the world in Korea. None of them worked out in the end.

Personally I'd have to go with friends with benefits until I am absolutely ready to start a family and give up my wild ways.

Depends on the couple. I've had plenty of "friends with benefits" relationships which were awesome. And other straight up relationships which kicked ass. Conversely, I've had sucky ones too. Just depends.

I had to vote other. There are few choices as personal and subjective as all of this. Most men want a committed relationship. I happen to want two. Some guys want more than two women in a committed or non committed way. As long as they are keeping their sexual urges and emotional needs satisfied we should not care what relationship choices they make.

I agree. Look at it this way, in a free society, in regards to how we behave sexually, we should be allowed to do whatever the hell we please. If I want fifteen wives, then by God I should be able to have fifteen wives. If my girlfriend wants fifteen husbands...well I'm breaking up with her but thats another point: its between the consenting adults :tongue:
