I guess we will have to devise an equation that allows us to compare how easy it is to get "free" sex for both genders with how easy it is to get the paid variety, including factors like time needed to find a partner, distance needed to travel to find a partner, cost of the paid sex, cost of the "free" sex, time required to earn the money needed and so on.

The "truth" is that men could just as easily get sex as women if they had the standards you lay out. If a man offers, chances are there's going to be at least one woman willing to take him up on his offer. The real truth, however, is that women and men are both going to have standards for who they will sleep with. A lot of men seem to have absurdly high standards where having sex with anyone except a Jessica Alba doppleganger is beneath them, which may lead them to believe that women have an easier time getting laid.

I think it has more to do with the area. In Atlanta the ratio of males to females is like 1 male for every 12 females. You can obviously see that women are going to have to do pretty much anything to keep a guy. So I think it probably varies from area to area.

guys are not only dumb about sex, the majority of them are totally amoral. (I'm betting at least 25% of married guys would respond yes, 45% of "committed" guys would, and at least 75% of single men would).
