Do to rl becoming busy a few months back I had to take a bit of a break from nsg. Now that I'm back I noticed that we now have adverts in the posts(wtf?) and a fair bit of grumbling about OMAC.
Who or what is OMAC and why have they become so unpopular so quickly?

OMAC bought Jolt and developed NS2. Now NS2 sucks and Jolt is full of adverts. Max has decided to go indy again. That's about it.

OMAC is the company that develops NS 2 and took over jolt last june. Since then, the number of adverts has increased - and now they are, as you noticed, even entering your posts.
