Catalog of OMAC related problems...

I'm sure everyone's well aware of the adverts in posts (http://forums.jolt.co.uk/showthread.php?t=584661&highlight=omac).
Let's put together a catalog of problems with OMAC...
Last year's font problem (http://forums.jolt.co.uk/showthread.php?t=560304)
Dissapearing multi-quotes (http://forums.jolt.co.uk/showthread.php?t=565258&highlight=omac)
The profanity filter fiasco (http://forums.jolt.co.uk/showthread.php?t=566587)
Those were all fairly minor.
Some more serious claims include:
Accusations of fraud (http://forums.jolt.co.uk/showpost.php?p=14344821&postcount=1)
A different accusation of fraud (http://forums.jolt.co.uk/showpost.php?p=14049365&postcount=14)
Note, for legal purposes, that I am unaware that either case was actually any fault of OMACs, I am simply highliting claims made by others.
And the list of problems re NS2 is longer than I have time to get into now...
Anyone else aware of other problems with OMAC?

What's the phrase, 'never attribute malice to that which can be explained by incompetence', or something like that.
As Fris says, I imagine it's a tough business but then I'd expect some, you know, asking the users before making decisions.
I don't know, adblock installed, not bothered by the problem anymore.

Over-intrusive advertisements?
I think that's one already listed.

That is true.

Hanlon's Razor:
'Never Attribute to Malice That Which Can Be Adequately Explained by Stupidity.'
There's a reason it's in my sig.
But yeah, my problem with OMAC (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_OMAC_Project) and its reps (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/OMACs) is the danger they pose.
I've posted this in another thread, but I think it bears repeating here.
Erastide has started a thread in (http://forums.jolt.co.uk/forumdisplay.php?f=1522) Jolt Main, the Feedback forum. I think if we all noted our unhappiness with this new change, in a respectful manner, we might get a change effected.
This is my post there:
As I have posted elsewhere - in the NS technical forum - I wish it noted that I utterly despise this sort of involuntary advertising. I will not visit any site so advertised. And further I feel that it is insulting to the posters to involuntarily put advertising in their posts.
I feel like I am not a valued member of the community when I find my posts have been effectively altered without my consent. When a poster has specifically formatted their post to present itself in a specific manner your insertion ruins their hard work.
And to have it done with no apparent preapproval commentary / input from those that post here further reinforces your apparent lack of concern for the community

to be fair to them though they did give us back  pretty quick so hopefully ads will be fixed soon
I do object to making list it just sorta seems rude

Since I don't have Firefox, I'd just like to know where I can find a good, or even passable, ad blocker.

Even if that list includes possibly having defrauding paying customers? The first case listed was someone who appears to have had their credit card billed for an OMAC mobile phone and the second is a case where it appears OMAC changed the terms of a contract after money had changed hands.
To me that's more than a minor problem that needs to be swept under the rug...

IE7Pro. I'm using it right now, and see no advertisements at all. In fact, I found out how to make the Jolt news thing at the top of the page go away.
So badly is it inserted into the OP in terms of format, I though it was a bug/script error that had shifted it from its former position beneath the posts.
