I love Nation States so much but I just cant get my fix here. two issues a day is not enough !
any console games? PC games? that allow you to be a Government leader. also I am not looking for a real time strategy game like Command and Conquer or age of Empires.

Its pretty interesting, however you have to choose an existing nation to be...I dont think there is one where you get to make your own...

Ahh I dont like WW2 era so much but anything else is fine.
I'd beware of Civilization IV, it's probably the most addictive game ever created.

Facebook has an application that's basically the same thing as Nation States as far as actually making decisions.

What is Nationstates? You mean to say there's a game attached to these forums :eek:
In terms of similar online games, Cybernations (and NS2, obviously!) are options. However, I found them extremely dull. In terms of offline games that are proper simulations, there is a game, called "Democracy" or something (now I think of it, I think there's "Democracy 2" out), but thats a lot more technical with you having to balance budgets, keep different sections of the electorate on your side etc. There's a demo available which I downloaded and like, and I think you can buy it online and download it. Though I don't think it includes war (or maybe that just wasn't on the demo) but to me thats a bonus.

it's more existing coz we can choose what we want to do as soldier, bussinessman, political... I play this game almost 8 month, become general on military, become mayor, congressman & latest become president in my country...

Not exactly like NationStates. More like an awesome video game I just happen to feel like mentioning.
Democracy is alright. Though I was forced from power by Capitalist guerrilas :(

I remember a game called "The 3rd/third Millennium".
It´s very old.
I can't seem to find any info on it though.
I do know it was shipped with a multitude of cd´s,
one for every language in UK.
