My Favorite Board Game Re-released

So today I was going through the aisles at my local hobby/comic shop when I spotted a game that I was surprised to see. Titan, in all its glory has been re-released. My last copy I bought in 93 or so and it has been out of print since the 80's prolly. On Ebay you can buy a copy for 200+ dollars. So I was excited to see a new release. The only problem I have is that the old art work for the legion markers were so much cooler. But other than that it looks good.

Anyone else out there miss any old board games that you wish they would re-release?

That looks like a pretty nifty game - I'll have to acquire a copy sometime.

Thank you for mentioning it.

Nothing offers a good laugh like a properly played session of Junta.

The rampaging armies of the dreaded Tophat were stopped at the border of Ukraine when they discovered that they didn't have enough money to pay for rooms at the high-priced hotels which the Dog had cunningly built on his last turn.

Exactly, lol, I think it would bring its premise to the modern era...

You should check out Conquer Club (http://www.conquerclub.com). It's an online version of Risk; they have the standard map, but they also have tons of other ones: maps of more specific geographical regions, like North America or Africa, or even the city of Charlotte, North Carolina or Sydney, Australia. Then they get a little more outlandish, there's one of Middle-earth, or Tamriel (from The Elder Scrolls), or the Stargate world. You play with people from all over the world, it's actually a lot of fun. I'd recommend it to everyone here.

I spent many an hour as a kid playing Colditz (and that was just to understand the rules)

They'll never bring that back in these politcally correct times - the closest we would get would be Guantanamo, with evil American guards:D

Dune (based on the film)

You got to harvest spice, assassinate other players, and fight them.

However, I still have it after 15 years, so no need to re-release it!

I wish they would. I loved that game, but it disappeared during a move :(

Still they rereleased Fury of Dracula, so I'm not unhappy.
