Buy her a rose...from Bin Laden!
Call to power

Israel has granted permission for 25,000 flowers from the Gaza Strip to be sent to Europe for Valentine's Day.
The flowers will be Gaza's first exports for a year, as Israel has intensified its blockade of the strip since Hamas took control in June 2007.
The blockade allows in aid but exports are banned with few exceptions.
The move was made after a request by the Dutch government and Gaza farmers. Israel says this does not mean any overall change of policy.
Israeli military spokesman Maj Peter Lerner said the flowers would leave Gaza through an Israeli cargo crossing and were due to reach the European market by Valentine's Day on Saturday.

Seeing as Israel tends to maintain a kill ratio close to 1:10 for the military, and beyond 1:100 for civilians, probably way below measurable.

Yeah, Israel is much, much, much better at protecting their citizens from harm than is Hamas in the Gaza.

Seeing as how the roses are grown in the Gaza strip, it's more likely the roses would be watered in Palestinian blood.

Some sort of attempt to link Gaza grown roses to Bin Laden I imagine. Similar to how Saddam and Bin Laden were supposed to be 'best buddies' back in 2002-2003.

They were, but Bin Laden forgot their anniversery. Saddam hasn't spoken to him since.

I think the difference is that Israel cares about it's citizens, while Hamas does not.

How can you know this?
As far as I know, Hamas's popularity is partly based on the welfare and social networks it provides for Palestinians. That Hamas wants the destruction of Israel does not mean it doesn't care for Palestinians.
For sure I can understand that provoking Israel may be bad for Palestinians but I suspect that many, if not the majority, support the provocations.

If they cared about their citizens, they'd spend less time in major population centres.

If that's the case, the world needs to shut the fuck up about the ebil joos.

Everybody in the Middle East has the right to live safely and with dignity. Many, however, don't acknowledge that right. From both sides of the Palestine / Israel equation.

What military in their right mind sets up in major populations centres? Civilians will obviously be killed. Just tells me that Hamas couldn't care less about the Palestinians.

Thanks. Yes, that tactic is deplorable. I guess they believe that the ends justify the means.
The tactic puts Israel in an invidious position. Understably, they don't want missiles landing in their towns. What to do?

Zero. And in the unlikely event that some Israeli was killed on the Gazan side of the border, their location would be indication that they aren't exactly innocent.
