One would think that if the every news network left of Fox News was liberal, they would show it in the people they interview. But who keeps getting interviewed about the stimulus bill? A member of Obama's team? No. Nancy Pelosi? No. Any Democrat at all? No. At least an economist? Fuck no. They interview Newt fucking Gingrich and let him sit there and spin bullshit about the stimulus bill and Obama's address to the Democrats. No corrections, no pointed questions, no liberal or economist as a counter interviewee.
The only way one can believe there is a liberal media is if the only "news" they acquire is the pissing and moaning from such "newsmen" as Rush Limbaugh, Bill O'Reilly, Sean Hannity, Anne Coulter, et al.

That's what we've (liberals) have been on about! :D
Seriously, why the hell does any news organization still have Newt Gingrich's phone number? How long ago what it that he was anybody of importance? Just because 10 or 15 rightwingers still think of him as Ye Olde Jedi doesn't mean he is actually relevant to anything.

they should at least have the journalistic integrity to be honest about who they are talking to.
"so newt, as a noted moron whose ideas have done more than their fair share to destroy this country, what are your thoughts on this whole thing?"

I hate it when they trot out the opinion puppets. "The government did XYZ. Next up, we'll talk to a rightwing pundit who is going to say it's bad/good and a leftwing pundit who is going to say it's good/bad. All of their statements will be regurgitations of talking point lists and will add nothing to your understanding of the matter."
As soon as the "analysis" part of the news starts, I switch over to Law and Order or CSI reruns.

Pantless needs to watch MSNBC. He'll feel better.

None of the network news channels are really journalism anymore. Why blame only Fox?

I'm guessing they're the easy target because their sensationalism is a little more obvious. (ie. Sean Hannity having people like Michael Crook and Shirley Phelps Roper on to lash out at them on-air)
But really, the other networks are for-profit media as well; they're competing for profits, so you can expect them to try to maximize ratings, which I'm guessing would include sensationalism and trying to remain appealing to their user bases. I find ideology labels like "liberal" and "conservative" simplistic, but if you don't trust the mainstream media, there's always the Internet. Even if it uses stuff from the mainstream media, it still uses it in ways you wouldn't get with the mainstream media alone. (ie. using different networks' versions of a story to catch one of them quoting a politician out of context (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bDw5a0_iFBk))
