High School Pole Dancing Classes

Anti-Social Darwinism

The demonstration was part of a fitness program. She moved her demo inside, at the request of the school administration, because of complaints that the students were distracted by it. But when the school demanded that she remove the demo from YouTube, she balked - she did the demo for free with the understanding that she could use the videos for advertising.

Note that YouTube won't let you watch the videos unless you prove you're over 18, but the newslink shows the demo from start to finish.

It's not very suggestive, as far as I can see, and I defy most people to do some of the things she does. The level of upper and lower body strength and flexibility is probably beyond all the administration and most of the students at that school. I doubt that many of us could do it.

Frankly, I think that anything that encourages fitness in schools these days is to be commended.

I demand bi-daily compulsory lessons for the cheerleading squad! Possibly linked up to monitors spread around the school.

God knows half of them are going to end up doing that for their careers anyways.

As I understand it it's actually a very good way to get fit. Which can't hurt.

Though the huge increase in cases of in-school masturbation on the part of the male students will be a problem.

i hardly call 16-19 year olds children. Not really interested in seeing the younger ones liekly too flat to be worth looking at.

I think pole-dancing is an excellent way to become, and stay, fit, and that it is a sport that may exert a high pull both for priorly inactive people to try sports, and for people who tried it to stay with it.

It's become more and more mainstream, and there's loads of classes where you focus on teh fitness/sport aspect and don't stress the "sexy" aspect.

I'd highly recommend pole-dancing to be included in a school's, and college's, sports curriculum/offer.

Wow, awesome acrobatics. I wish I could've taken such a class while in high school.

I didn't watch every second of the vid, but I didn't see anything "raunchy" in it - except maybe her gyrations, which came across to me a more spastic than sexy (if you can't do it, folks, please don't try it. Some bodies just don't have the knack).

If she'd used the gymnastic rings and did some of those moves, she'd be applauded.

Bottom line - take away the music (or substitute "Hamster Dance" for hoots and giggles), and the pseudo-gyrations, and this comes across as a very impressive display of acrobatic skills and strength training.

I'm good enough with women that this doesn't really appeal to me.

You know, this sort of statement makes me believe that you are worse with the opposite sex more than if you had just straight up said that you are clueless around women.

You know, i'm not all that concerned with what you think. I'm certainly not going to lie just to give off an impression.

You're concerned enough to brag to everyone that you are so good with women that the mere sight of an attractive one dancing around doesn't faze you. If you didn't care what people thought you wouldn't have felt the need to tell everyone.

No.... no. I kind of assumed it would draw negative attention. This is a forum. I posted my thoughts on the topic.

So why post your thoughts if you have no interest in what everyone else thinks about it?

EDIT: Whoops, there goes my troll detector. Sorry folks, didn't realise. Resume pole-dancing discussion.

I care about discussing the topic, but not so much about discussing myself.

If that makes me a troll then i guess i am a troll. Whatever the hell that means. I don't think we should resort to name calling.

How cynical of you. With the natural charm and film star good looks he evidently possesses, I would not be suprised in the slightest if he has to hire a team of bodyguards to deal with the crowd of screaming teenage girls and gay men that inevitably forms as soon as he goes outside.

LG, your definition of "mad skills" involves pie throwing and setting up various booby traps to make unwitting people fall into nearby mud.

Male film stars and boy band members (whose qualities of personality and looks are obviously matched by Valentasia) almost always have a strong gay following. But maybe the nature of his fan club of several billion differs from the norm. Anyway, don't be arrogant, its not like the gays will be after you, all their attention will be focused on the the hunky and charismatic specimen of male perfection that is Valentasia.

Poles are naughty and every time I see one I am forced to punch myself in the crotch for thinking naughty thoughts about women and the things they will do around it. I've yet to see a woman pass by a pole without taking off her clothes, gyrating all about it and then begging me for money. Ban all poles.
