For a FREE round trip plane ticket to any destination of your choice, would you wear a pair of inflatable water wings(for beginner swimmers) on your arms while boarding a plane, security/everything in NYC the day after the Hudson River plane crash on a bet ?

See now my girlfriend would be mortified and would never do this, she is like why wouldnt i just pay the money and avoid the embarrassment?

I am broke, and there are places I would really really like to travel. Easy decision.

Well seeing as no one died It's not all that distasteful to wear water wings is it.

I really don't think it would cause all that much of a stir. Add some snorkel goggles to the outfit for good measure.

And yes I would wear snorkel goggles, water wings, etc - just long as the destination is somewhere worth going to.

Isn't a bit late to offer this as a hypothetical?

EDIT: Unless you're planning another one, I guess.

Yes. No one was hurt in the crash, so poking a bit of fun at it is not really offensive or anything.

Last time I made that arguement, however, I was told I was a miserable human being. So lets see.

Considering that I dressed up in full jumping kit, went to the local Tescos, and asked two of the staff to perform a formation on the floor with me just for a free t-shirt I can't really see this being all that bad

No, because there's not anywhere I really want to go, I don't like flying, and I don't like embarassing myself.

The person that told you that, was a miserable human being. If you can't laugh about something thats not even really tragic you are miserable.

Would I wear the water wings? Fuck Yeah!
