Sinus Surgery

I am considering having this done as I frequently have sinus problems, such as pressure behind the eyes and in the forehead. I was wondering if anyone else here has had it. Has it worked well for you? Would any of the NSG medical professionals recommend this for me? I am just tired of going to the doctor every couple of months only to have the same results time and again. Please help!

I can do the surgery, but first I have to ask: how much is it worth to you?

I'll give you my first born child?

I see you know my price. Have we met before?

Well, seriously, NSG is like the last place you want to be asking about this. I will say that sinus surgery sounds very unpleasant to me so I can only imagine that your sinus problems are even more unpleasant, so that sucks.

My brother had it when he was first born. Well, it was some sort of sinus procedure. His was clogged with stuff.

That was 18 years ago.

I cannot help you further.

I recommend a DIY solution with a Black & Decker powerdrill.

I had some, but with some practice I'm now able to do all the sorts of trigonometry, calculus, derivation - you name it. Practice is the key, and don't let the initial difficulties to let you down.

Ah, so "sine", not "sinus", is the word for the ratio of the length of the adjacent side to the length of the hypotenuse over there?

Doesn't sinus surgery depend on you actually having polyps within your nasal passage? If your sinusitis is purely allergy based there's not much to be done.

A buddy of mine at work had nasal surgery for the same thing. He says he can breath better from his nose, but now all he smells is dirty socks.

.... but now all he smells is dirty socks.

It is amazing the things surgeons leave behind in patients' bodies.

I have no experience with this procedure, though my grandfather was an Army Pathologist and private practioner. I saw your post and called him to inquire about his opinion on the matter. He told me that you should consult a doctor at a private practice as to whether they believe that is the proper route to go. The worst that could happen is that the doctor tells you it isn't a good idea, but at best they could say it'll significantly help your problem. Best wishes buddy! I hope you get your nasal issues all sorted out. :)
