Holy shit, doing power slides at 100mph! I want to be a cop!
The cars look like Police Mustangs and Caprices.
EDIT: They are old Fox Body mustangs, who says American Cars can't handle!

I wish I could become a cop, but I doubt they'll let me become one. :(

They wouldn't let me become one either, but i really don't wish to be one. I'm a very different kind of role model. :)

You should feel comforted that they won't be pulling these moves, as they could put the donuts in harms way.:(

As for me, I think they'll take one look at my face, my hearing aid, and determine that I can't be a cop.

As far as driving goes, nothing beats 80s rallye driving.
edit:
And as the poster below me commented: You usually want to avoid drifting as much as possible on a solid surface. On loose surface, like gravel, scandinavian flicks et al begin to make sense.

Drifting isn't really handling...

I can imagine that your wife had something to do with that. Possibly along the lines of over her dead body. ;)

More like proof of losing grip and not handling properly.

Meh, it's not really that either...but the two of you make me sad to be a fan of cars so I'll just let you guys hash it out...
No. Over mine. :(
That's what happens when you marry a cop. They have ways of making you cooperate.

Y'know, back when I lived in Beijing I remember watching a television program on the PLA. They kept replaying this one clip of a truck grinding to a halt, then ten soldiers did these one-handed twisty-flip things to get out of the truck bed.
No, I don't know why this would be useful. But I betcha that the CHPs can't do it. ^^

Carabinieri in pursuit of an arms trafficant in Milan: up to about 180 km/h, on normal streets with traffic (I guess from piazza Durante through viale Palmanova up to the motorway ramp). Poor quality, though.

I was expecting some group of cadets beating on some minority, and my response was going to be: "Old news."
But you failed me once again, NS.

Wasn't Rodney King Resisting arrest though? You know, one of the things you shouldn't do?
Chris Rock explains it all. (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SwfTustpG8g)

Flopping around in an 80s Mustang is fine and good, but then there's doin' it in an all wheel drive Subaru WRX, Gymkhana! (http://www.metacafe.com/watch/2036331/subaru_fun/) (the kind without horses, and the only 'drifting' style thing I like because it's about precision car control)
