Actors/Actresses who need to stop acting...

Minoriteeburg

Can you think of any? and Why?

Here is my list...

Actors: (in no particular order)

1. Ben Affleck
2. Paul Walker
3. Keanu Reeves
4. Chris Klein
5. Clint Eastwood (there I said it, you haven't made a significant movie in over 10 years!)

honorable mention: Shia LeDouche (after seeing eagle eye, he is the reason I am starting this thread)

Actresses: (in no particular order)

1. Julia Roberts
2. Julia Stiles
3. Katherine Heigl
4. Jessica Alba
5. Nicole Kidman

This might be my last novelty thread for a bit, so lets discuss!

This makes Clyde very angry. Right turn, Clyde.

I also think that the ten-year statement is a bit weird. He's only been in 5 in the last years, and it includes Million Dollar Baby, which wasn't bad at all.

Agreed. Now that I think about it I could have done without all of the austin powers films. He is best as a skit actor...if those films were turned into a series on SNL or something to that effect they would have been a littel funnier than 3 movies repeating the same joker over and over.

Will Ferrel hit or miss depends on the movie.

Keanu is hit or miss too. I liked Constantine it was not really like the comic which I think disappointed fans. I like Johnny Mnemonic. The dolphin was a weird touch. Maybe I am not critical enough I guess.

I like the new Bond, Daniel Craig. Again I think the script has a lot to do with the movie.

I liked him in the film I can't quite recall, where he worked at WallMart of some big USian chain store developing photos.

Yeah I believe it was One Hour Photo. He plays a pretty good bad guy.

Die Another Day just proves why Halle Berry must never be in films, and that Madonna is a terrible person.

I would like to add just about anyone who started out as a singer. Mark Wahlberg did it okay but he was only ehhhh singer anyway.

That was really good. I didn't care for his Punisher. I also like Ivan Drago in Rocky 4.

Nobody has done a really good Punisher film. I didn't hate the last one but something was missing.

Daredevil was okay

Electra was okay

Batman has been pretty good except Val Kilmer, again it may have been the movie

Superman was pretty good the last one kind of ehhh

Iron man was really good

Hulk was okay

Monster's Ball is the obvious answer. After proving she was a harlot by getting her tits out they made a terrible film whose only 'good point' is her having sex on-screen. Eugh.

I thought Monster's Ball was excellent. Especially Heath Ledger's part. So there.

Dolph's Punisher made me cry from bad even when I was a kid. Daredevil sucked. Electra sucked. George Clooney's Batman sucked as much as Kilmer's. I loved the last Superman, and... I didn't see the Hulk. But I agree about Iron Man! :D

"Cassandra comes from an extra different bit of China which she was pretty explicitly as mentioned not coming from in the first film, and Wayne follows her back to Singapore in hope of a TV deal in the far east, wacky adventures ensue"

Hmm... I always imagined in WWIII we would find Wayne sitting in a cubical day in, day out. Untill one day Jimi Hendrix walks out of the elevator and smashes his guitar on Wayne's desk bursting into purple flames. This of course sends Wayne on a path to reclaim his youth, and rediscover his meaning in life/ mental breakdown. Along the way he finds Garth at WoW central, play as some epic character. Well you can sum up the rest of the movie your self....(

I think Keanu is good when the role calls for a stoic hero type guy. He was awesome as Neo in the Matrix Trilogy.

As for my list Will Farrell
Tom Hanks, yes I am adding Tom Hanks
Queen Latifah, I'm surprised no one mentioned her fat ass yet.
Finally, Eddie Murphy.

He should have definitely given it up after the love guru, one of the worst movies ever, I guess next to cat in the hat.

Has he made a movie since Love Guru?

Also, I object to Keanu Reeves being on that list. He has never acted, so he can't very well stop. People thought he was acting in Bill and Ted's excellent adventure, but every movie he has done since shows that he was just being himself.

I think if you watch Constantine frame by frame there's a scene where you can see him mouthing to himself "bogus, bogus, bogus."

But you have to look really carefully. Like that guy who watched every episode of Three's Company trying to find John Ritter's nuts so he could call the FCC and complain about them.

9 pages hmm? How many times has Keanu Reeves come up?

Too many?

I am a firm believer that several actors are born for a single purpose.
For example: Ben Affleck was born so that he could be in Armageddon and make Bruce Willis look that much more awesome.

Keanu was born for three purposes.
The Matrix (I know kung fu....whoa...)
Speed (If this bus goes less than 55 MPH, it'll explode!....whoa...)
Bill and Ted's Excellent Adventure (Genghis Khan!....whoa...)

He's fulfilled his purpose. He should stop now.

Christopher Walken's talent has been wasted in many films. Blast from the Past, Joe dirt, Click, and Man of the Year are the latest examples.

Pssh. Walken needs to be put in wholly inappropriate roles just for kicks. He should be the next Unicron.

I don't believe so. I mean the guy does one great performance and dies. I know I might get some heat for this, but it is true. I mean name one good film he did before Dark Knight.....

A Knights Tale? Brokeback Mountain? It was all garbage until that film.

Well, those are both good films. But he also had:

Monster's Ball
