The reason why there are so few good movies with genuine and hardcore sex scenes and so few pornos with decent plots is that it's not easy to have sex in such a way as to advance the plot of the film. I consider that a challenge!

You know, Tex Avery is said to have determined to the number of frames how long any gag needed to go over, similarly Carl Stalling having to-the-note knowledge of how much of a music cue was needed for any gag or scene. I think there needs to be some sort of Tex Avery/Carl Stalling approach to porn, exactly how much of holding her leg standing at the edge of the bed do you really need? Etc. I know they have a term for it, something to do with the fast forward button, but I don't know that they've done anything with it.

Yes, I suppose the challenge of any good porn would be to minimize the tendency to fast forward, wouldn't it? So far, they really haven't done very well.
