My theory is that they got someone on the inside to alter detectors and the fuel source and Iran is currently refining craponium and they dont even know it.

Did they really? I somewhat doubt that the Israelis actually hit an actually working reactor. Maybe, a uranium cache or an experimental enrichment plant - the Syrians didn't make much of a fuss, either, iirc.

It was an international story, a plutonium reactor was being made under the supervision of North Korea in Syria and it wasnt finished yet but was close enough that Israel destroyed it.

well last time we screwed up Iran's nuclear weapons plans we did it by seeding a nuclear scientist with plans for a fake reactor. supposedly set them back 10 years.
So who knows what we set up this time. might be plans for a bomb that doesn't work.

While all I did to investigate the wind patterns in the middle east was take a look at yahoo weather, it doesn't look like the wind blows from the Med, over Israel, towards Iran.

OK, maybe not an Iranian Chernobyl, but an Iranian Three Mile Island.
