The answer of course is Political Capital (http://www.boardgamegeek.com/game/29098). :hail:

What are the other nominations?

By the way, if any other Economist subscribers still have their copy, maybe we could set-up a temporary NS region to play Political Capital in.

simsoc. more of an actual study tool, that predated having personal computers to run it on, rather then an actual 'game' in the sense implied. although the potential is there, along with the inhierent economic chauvanism likely to be imbedded, intentionally or not, in pretty much all of them.

Any game that can make a parent look their own child in the eye and scream "Look out Poland, Germany's rollin' through, baby!" is a winner in my book.

What game's that?

Probably Axis and Allies.

I would have to say Diplomacy for board games, for computer games Supremecy 1914 is very good.
