Ugh. Consider this a troll, if you wish. I am getting so very pissed of reading posts, whether in NSG, II, or in any of the dozen other forums that I am a member of, and see something very like the above coming out of their idiotic mouths (so to speak). Why? What is so appealing about the smiley that these people use them so vigorously and repetitively? For example, from the forum for a freeware ripoff of the music rhythm games:

To which I replied that keyboards were programmed that way, and whatever model he had probably was an exception to the "3 keys max" rule. He/she remained blissfully noncomprehending of my point.
It's the principle, though. Why?
