No. Just tell me what you were thinking/if you've seen it.

I think most people frequenting this board weren't born when that particular episode first aired, and probably are not that interested in a fifty year old show that is in black and white and whose picture quality has deteriorated quite a bit in the interim.

I wasn't born in 1963 (though I was born in the 60s), but I am interested in a 45 year old show in black and white - not just because I grew up with Doctor Who, but also because of the programme's long-standing and important influence on British science fiction generally and televised science fiction specfically.

And picture quality needn't be that bad. A number of official and high-quality clips from the First Doctor's era can be watched here (http://www.bbc.co.uk/doctorwho/classic/clips/first.shtml).

As to the OP, Galaxianda's already gaining something of a reputation in the RP forums for gnomic posts with any lack of real detail that he expects everyone to be interested in, so nothing new here then. There are far worse types of n00b.

True, but the recent revival of the Doctor's exploits might make it more relevant.

That dude did everything. Hitchhiker's, Dr Who, Monty Python, even played bass with Pink Floyd one time.

And with good reason. They make look somewhat silly, but Daleks have terrifying voices. Also there's the simple fact that where the Daleks appear, the body count rises. On the other hand, that's also the case when the Doctor appears. If I would see that old police phone booth appear, I would run like the wind!

I was never that much into the original Doc, to be honest. It came on sometimes on PBS years ago and I just thought it was some psychedelic shapes for drugees to watch. I did like the remake, though, the one with that wacky guy.
