It seems that 3/4 Americans are happy to see the Shrub leave. Kind of a duh but hey liberal media right?

Just because you can't get enough Palin. She has one defender.

She didn't fail because:

She told fibs(ie the bridge to nowhere).
She couldn't handle a "milk toast" interview.
She tried to make women pay for rape kits.
She looked into censoring.
She used her position for personal revenge.
She was a hypocrite(ie standing up to big oil).
She couldn't answer basic federal government questions.
She implied that being educated was elitist.
The ever favorite use of "liberal" as a dirty word.
etc. etc. etc.

It turns out there is a big city liberal agenda against small rural communites! Damn those liberals!

"Sarah Palin understands a lot about America. Too bad many Americans don't understand Sarah Palin."

Ah? Maybe she doesn't understand America?

If she tries again in 4 years. It will be an easy election.....

Our dear Cat Tribe is very wise.

"I have faith in human beings to be human -- which is both wonderful and deeply flawed."

lesson in life:

If you can't get an ex back, make up a story of a kidnapping and tell him the child is his! Sad....

She learned a lot about governing 'Real' Americans at community college. ;)

I doubt it's a "duh"; he won in 2004 after Americans had already seen 4 years of his policies, and now after 4 more the vast majority is against him?

Oh, those evil people from those evil big cities.

The notion that "way back when" was better is plain laughable too.

Surely he yearns for a simpler time.

A time in which women were blamed for their rapes.
A time in which gays were arrested for being gay.
A time in which an accident landed the woman stuck for life with an unwanted child.
A time in which science was at the mercy of religion.
A time in which questioning the government could get you blacklisted.

Such a simpler time. For some.

Hey...there's nothing wrong with community colleges...

I agree with you almost totally. Schooling is not a clear sign of intellect or ability. Some people are late bloomers or have problems dealing with academic structure. But for President of the United States, I set my standards a bit higher. Especially after the last eight years. :p

If she tries for the Presidency in 2012, the Democrats could run Bush/Cheney and win against her.

There's a reason for that...

31% say he did well as president overall - bad but not the abysmal number you might expect. I guess we'll have to wait and see whether history will vindicate President Bush, as he's predicted publicly. Whether Iraq/Afghanistan work out and whether the recession is a shallow or deep dip will probably have something to do with it.

What is a "milk toast" interview?

He means milquetoast - a pretty cool word in my opinion, 'cause it originates from a comic strip character from the '30s, Caspar Milquetoast. "Soft ball" would've been a better choice, though, unless you believe they went easy on Sarah Palin because they were *afraid* of her.

Ah yes. Karl Rove's in over 100 years they will figure out he was a great President....

Or they will see the level of deception this administration did such as the practice of infoganda and doing things like sending out fake reporters to spread deception to get the new bad health plans out for the seniors.

He did accomplish one thing though. He will keep Jeb out of the whitehouse.....

I never thought Jeb had what it took to begin with, but that's possible.

Jeb would be laughed out of the place.

Jeb would be laughed out of the place.

Maybe now - not necessarily so if W hadn't come and gone. Jeb was qualified and is still popular in FL, but had/has the personality of an onion sandwich. Wouldn't have worked.

This makes me even more confused. What is a milk toast or even a milquetoast interview?

Impressive. Most people don't know that name anymore.

"Milk toast" is the phrase I have seen more often. Butchered name of course.
