No, of course. Why would a site on .co.uk have anyone from UK on it? I'm from the free civilized world, for one.

A better question is, why are you still in UK and not running away from your oppressive government to the magic land of honeysweet wages and pink guns?

I doubt that damned colonials, the mere semi-British, would ever have been considered a part of the UK had it existed at the time!

As for me, I can be found in Sheffield most of the time and Essex in the summer/winter months. Yep, there's plenty of us here :)

Seeing as the US of A is the most commercialized nation in the world, you do.

Although technically .com is worldwide, but seeing as US is the world's capital, it counts.

Heh, the "honey-moon" period for consoles. I'd like to know if the Wii does really stand up for that long.

It strikes me that the only one worth buying at the moment is the PS3, but then it costs an arm and a leg so it probably ain't worth buying.

Most games now are pretty poor, in my opinion at least. There are few out there which have really grabbed my attention of late, bar Company of Heroes and Call of Duty 4. I still play Morrowind and HalfLife.

BioShock was a hell of a let down, especially since it cost me Goddamn £50. Although the story itself was pretty cool and Andrew Ryan has got to be one of the most quotable video game characters.

Has always been the case. See also movies. Most of what comes out whenever is pure pish.

Most of the Source engine stuff has been excellent. Spore was a decent game the first 2 goes, if rather throwaway for what it was claimed it was going to be. Sins of a Solar Empire is excellent and I enjoy a bit of Combat Mission : Shock Force from time to time.

If I want to shoot something, nothing beats an airsoft assault rifle on full-auto. The sound alone's worth it.

But, yeah. FPS do really help with stress. Shame HalfLife is really puzzle-y, so it can be a bit difficult to manage when intoxicated. I often take advantage of one of my housemates' awesome PCs and play on shit like Left 4 Dead or the affore mentioned CoD4.

For stuff to play pissed on the PC, I quite enjoy playing almost any MMO when hammered, or an otherwise-deep strategy game. Pissed-up Supreme Commander is a thing of great beauty.

Morrowind I've yet to complete the main quest of, despite owning for nearly two years. It's because my PC's rejected it twice, and I keep getting distracted by the plethora of mods out there for it. HalfLife... I got distracted by Opposing Force and Blue Shift, which I completed quickly. Blue Shift I think is one of my favourite games out there.

CoD4 is awesome... a main character getting nuked just can't be beaten.

Mount&Blade, if you've heard of it, is good for playing when stoned.

If you don't want to be packed off, just stay as a squaddie in the TA, or that's the advice of my pal who's been in for 3 years and has denied every promotion ever offered to him as he saw his various sergeants and lieutenants shipped out.

Fair play.

My airsofting-experience basically only goes as far as shooting home-made targets I've rigged up in my back garden, nothing more. Mainly empty beer cans or pizza boxes, once a WWII Russian helmet. Especially since due to the Violent Crime Reduction Act 2006 my gun is bright friggin' green, so I can hardly go out into polite society with a lime-green FN F2000.

Although when we first came to my student house we got the old Bill called on us because me and two of my housemates were pissing around with BB guns in the back garden and someone thought that they were real guns. At the time we had a knackered second-hand, single-shot AK47, a couple of pistols and a very weak electric MP5.

Two WPCs turned up and asked to look at them, They cast a cursory glance over our small collection and said that they were all legal and buggered off again. The coppers obviously didn't take that call seriously as they'd have otherwise have sent around an armed response unit, which really would have been fun.
I was thinking more WoW, but aye.
One of my housemates has taken to doing that.

My other problem with it is that its too close to France. If the wind turns the wrong way, the foul smell of garlic and body odour can often blow across much of Southern England.
