The most underrated thing in the world.

Bloodlusty Barbarism

No one else appreciates it. You can't get your friends to like it (or you're too embarassed to tell them about it). It's one of your favorite things in the whole wide world. Maybe it's a band, maybe it's a movie, maybe it's a book, maybe it's something else.
But whatever your guilty pleasure is, share it. The world will benefit :)

Pickle rice. It's boiled rice mixed with pickle (mango pickle, lime pickle, chilli pickle, etc.). It's the simplest thing I cook for myself but also one of the most strangely addictive.

Also, me. More people should like me, I think. And flightless hippos.

That's just cause we all know that it doesn't matter how they do during the regular season; they'll still get bounced in the first round of the playoffs by the Canadiens.

Spoken like a true Bostonian.

I have hope this year. I'm already pumped for the 2/10 game against the Sharks. Bruins (for once) are actually playing really well, and I think they could take the Canadiens.

Mind you, I can't take another loss to the fuckers in the first round.

I put them on par with dirty martini's for "underrated"

Currently, they're still kinda under the surface, but they're both just starting to break through into real popular drinks.

Mind you, I love both. Nothing tops a tanqueray 10 dirty martini bone dry straight up with 3 olives...mmm....

which is why you eat them when they are in the drink. They soak up some alcohol too. Compliment the flavor of gin nicely too.

even more then guideway based transportation systems propelled by clean energy, which was and is my first and eternal love, and i'll have to second that imagination is right on there too:
if everyone were friendly and considerate there would be no need for emotion.
if there were no need for emotion there would be no stress.
if there were no stress, everyone would live a very very long time
(and enjoy doing so)

Enjoyment is an emotion.

So is love, friendship, appreciation, caring, tenderness .. without emotion I doubt there would be much reason to live.

Without stress we actually wouldn't live very long at all. You see, moderate amounts of certain kinds of stress are actually good for us.

Early vocal music, specifically people like Tallis, Palestrina, Josquin, Ockeghem, Machaut... the list goes on.

Also, twentieth and twenty-first century classical music. I admit there's some crap, but also many gems waiting to be discovered and performed more often.

Film: Barry Lyndon; the greatest story of social hypocrisy ever told, and I am the only one I know who enjoys it.

Book: The Eyes of the Overworld and Cugel's Saga, both by Jack Vance.

Sport: Fencing.

Leader: Richard Nixon (he probably ties with Bill Clinton as the best Presidents of the 20th century).

Person: Me...no, just kidding.
