Well massive fight in Korean parliament. Basically the majority party blocked opposition parties from access to a committee room and the opposition party was planning to filibuster ratification of the free trade agreement with the US.
When i was in Korea this summer they had massive protest against the free trade agreement while i was there.
I am beginning to wonder how democratic is a filibuster? Not just in the US where it is largely used to block the nomination of SCOTUS judges but worldwide.
If your from a country outside the US does your government have a sytem of filibusters and how are they used and how often.
