How old are we?

SaintB

Just curiosity on my part but how old are you?

From what I glean the majority of people on NS actually seem to be between 20 and 30 years old but since its a testable thesis, I figured why the hell not test it? If you don't want to make your age public, please just vote to satisfy my curiosity and don't put it down.

I'm 24.

It's only 2k words and I've already done 1,000, s'all good.

Wait a 2000 word essay and you are staying up over night when you have over a day to do it?

That's strange mate, at least leave it till the night before.

If you are doing it over two nights and hardly sleeping during the two days it has to be large. Two semesters ago I had a large anyalysis to do about 25 pages worth, even though we had weeks to do it and the class was given a two week extension I still (for some stupid reason) didn't start it till 2 days beforehand. Didn't go so bad in it either, managed to get 80% for it.

I know plenty of people that do that here. In fact, it's quite common, although my housemate is a prime example of why you shouldn't do that. I can't concentrate on the same task for more than about 5 minutes, so I take a week to do it, more if it's important coursework like I'm doing now. Plus, I can hog the books.

As for my age, I'm 20 in 9 days, woohoo! (as of the 16th)

That's a good point and well done.

Don't do what I did, I started uni planning my assignments and allocating time to subjects to study etc for the first year. By the end of my final semester I was doing subjects the night after they were due* going out partying and getting drunk all the time and basically placing my uni work second mainly because I had enough of uni. So you my friend have a good plan.

*The way it worked for my faculty was that if it said it was due by 5pm Tuesday it wasn't due till 9am Wednesday. If due by 5pm Friday it didn't have to be handed up till 9am Monday.
